So I installed an AVC-R in my 89 CRX, and it worked fine for about a week. I came home from work and was talking to this guy in the parking lot. After we were done, I started the car up to take it to my garage. The car started and everything worked for about 5 seconds than BAM. Everything but the speedo died. I went back and checked all the wiring and it is all clean, I checked the fuses and they are all good. What can it be? The ony things that work are the warning lights, the lights that come on when the headlights are on, and the speedo. The AVC-R shows RPM. I can't figure this one out. Thanks guys!
