EG JDM headlight install problem
i wired up the headlights for my car. they worked fine. so i came on H-T did a search to find out how to get the city lights wired up. found what i needed. tried it. it worked for a minute then eveything stoppped working, except my highbeams.they work fine.
now i have no signal lights, or tail lights, nothing except for my highbeams.
i've tried everything i can think of.
anyone else have any ideas??? or have had a similar problem with this install????
any info would be greatly appreciated. i need to get to work tonite..lol

Re: EG JDM headlight install problem (SPNFEDEJ)
well, i figured out part of the problem. changed a few fuses for the headlights etc..
now the only problem is my signal will blink when i turn them on. but they don't come on when i turn my lights on.
there's a black green and red wire for the corner lights. but the red wire is the one that doesn't have a connection to it. should that be wired up??
thanks for the help guys. appreciate it.

Did you do any research before you started doing this? Sounds to me like you screwed up your wiring... or just plain guessed.

the black wire is negative, red wire is positive, green wire makes your turn signals blink (a pulse wire so to speak)
when you wired the city lights did you wire black to black and red to red with out touching the green on the turn signal?

Re: EG JDM headlight install problem (SnowSurfer)
okay heres the deal. the harness on the back of the signal light only has two wires. black and green. there is no red wire to connect the red wire coming from the car.
and yes i went black to black and red to red when i wired the city lights.
but what i don't get is why there is no red wire on the back of the harness on the corner light??? i'm stumped.
