Stupid ? On the Front Marker Lights
Today I am checking all my lights for the up coming safety inspection. I noticed that both my corner/marker lights are inop. No big deal I'll go for the bulb right? Sure it's that easy! I go to take out the light lens so I can re-lamp the lights. Manual says take out one screw and pull the lens from the body, but it won't come out. Not wanting to force anything and shatter a lens. I thought I would post my situation here. Am I missing something? Those darn lenses won't come out of the cavity, and I really don't need to break them!
This design philosophy was also carried over into the 5th Gen's as well.
The Lamp is retained by a single screw on the top, and aligned by two plastic pins in the rear. There may, or may not be a bronze or aluminum stud on the lower part of the lamp which pushes thru a rubber bushing.
The drill is to remove the upper retaining screw and pull the lamp straight forward (NOT TO THE SIDE!!!) Refer supplied illustration link: http://www.hondaautomotivepart...82%29

Got em but not without taking out the alignment pins on the back of the light housings
You wouldn't believe how much leverage was required to free them from their stud
