Condition of the spark plugs were good.. not lean not rich, no detonation. What could be a list of problems I am looking at? I know for a fact the bottom end is in perfect condition so it has to be something with the head. Valve seals? Also at idle my vacuum is at 16. By the way its a b18b block with a b16 head.

I did a valve adjustment when I put the head on. The thing is I dont think I bent it.. If it is bent I think it was done by the person who owned the head b4 me. I did a valve adjustment when I put the head on. Will this method still apply? Would it be tighter or looser than spec? Thanks.

If a valve was bent after the last time it was adjusted it should be loose.
