Master Power (brazil) turbos
Hello, I'm currently doing an H22 rebuild, and I'd like to upgrade my turbo.
For those who have/are running Master Power turbos- especially those running Super 62-1 or T70's- I was wondering how they would perform with my 2.2l setup.
AEBS sleeves
JE 9:0:1 pistons
Eagle rods
Crower cams
SuperTech valvetrain
Skunk 2 intake mani
Lightweight flywheel
etc..
I'd like to shoot for 500 whp and see full boost by 4-5.5k if possible.
Let me know

Master Power does not and never did supply turbos for SSAC and XSpower. If you check out http://www.turbomustangs.com you will find dozens of people running these turbos with failure rates no higher than any Garrett, PTE, or ITS units. I have personally ran a Master Power T70 with a T4 hot side on my mustang for a lot of miles. My cousin lives in Brazil and not only do tons of them use MP turbos (including himself) but Ethanol is cheaply available at the pumps, so he normally runs 30 pounds of boost on day-to-day driving, which puts a bit more stress on turbos than the 8-15 most people stick with for pump gas here.

Ive been running a master power t3/t04e 50 trim for well over a year now, the turbo is of great quality and is actually a garret/honeywell center cartridge with the master power compressor and exhaust housings bolted on, whoever says that they are the same as the ssac turbo's are out of their mind.

A 60-1 will easily make 500 WHP and spool up quicker than the other two. It's what I would run.
