Some more pictures

I bought this to convert my 97 to the 98+ Front end. I got a killer deal on it (500) and the front is in superb shap(-the lip). The car was hit the the side at the drivers door and totalled and parted out. I got the last of it. So at least somthing will live on Just a little slower.

Some of the parts off of it are for sale

And if you had a type R in the york/hanover area of Pa and crashed it I have the front. Just curious to find the history.

minus the lip, $500 is an average price for what you received imo.

fenders/hood/bumper/headlights.

another one gone...what a waste of an R. atleast you got something from it. interesting to note that both airbags deployed but no frontal hit. i've seen some frontal collisions that should have had the bags pop but didnt. makes you wonder

you also got the itr steering rack, steering wheel and carbon drivers vent so 500 is a good price

I thought it was good. Dash and everything. I never really price a conversion out and it was an imuplse buy. Im happy no I just have to find 7-8 friends of mins to help pick it up off the trailer.

good buy man...

I dont know if it is only me " I doubt it" but when you guys see a ITR shell cut up like that ... or a ITR as a whole that has been wrecked... it really hurts to see it...

Just means another one closer to extinction

Nobody reads any more?

Good job on saving some of it, or at least what was useable.

Plenty of good parts there for $500, I say good deal.

I am from Hanover and there was a R that was crashed about a year or so ago. Some chick had it for a few months then manage to crash it in town acting stupid. The front end was still decent on the car after the accident.

The car went to a shop and needless to say it was stripped quickly of a lot of parts just from sitting outside for a night. Car was considered totaled by insurance then.

Huh? Nice story. How does that relate to this thread?

I had asked if anyone from around the area where I picked it up owned it or knew the history.

This car was left inside and mostly parted out except someone broke into the shop and took the seats and 2 Gsr motors. How I dont know.

just to warn you... the 98+ rear ends never quite line up like they should on a 94-97 shell. Some dood in Gettysburg replicated a PY and it was originally a 94 RS. Its very easy to spot the difference. I saw in your for sale thread that you wanted to do the rear end conversion as well....just thought id give you the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess Ill get a 98 rear and see what we can do while we prep the car, if it looks like crap, then I guess ill put the 97 on but I didnt want it 1/2 assed, idk

(but since its a 97 putting a 98+conversion would be 1/2assed anyway.)
