Default Greddy Turbo Manifold wont fit? oil pan issues too...

I've been trying to get the greddy manifold to fit on my car and it wont go on. It's the 92-95 sohc kit and my car is a 94 Si with the stock d16z6.

The holes line up perfectly with the gasket, but wont slide on to the bolts. It sort of seems like the holes are too small, could this be possible?

any ideas or tips? thanks..

nevermind, we got it.. it just required a lot of force and bending of one of the bolts

hmm sounds kinda ghetto, greddy kits with all the nice custom stuff out now why go with a overpriced bare bones kit?

i have a greddy kit too, and honestly... If i wanted a 400whp monster, i would have gotten a different kit. Some people really aren't trying to build a insane setup, and the greddy kit works fine

The GReddy kit gets a bad rap, but d16z6 + GReddy kit = fun. I plan on using an 18g and a HF manifold. I hope to get into the 12's with this setup. At the end of my project, I won't even have spent enough for a b-series swap.

Just take your time with the whole installation.

Try tapping the oil pan a few times with a rubber mallet. Sometimes they stick on there pretty good. You're also going to need a new oil pan gasket when you're done.

Yeah, if you don't remove the cover over the flywheel, the oil pan won't come off. There may even be a few bolts/nuts that are hidden underneath it. HTH!

If you don't want to hack into your stock wiring harness, you can go
to http://www.boomslang.us/emanage.htm and buy a plug-and-play harness.
It's not cheap, but I plan on buying it for the Greddy kit I just bought for my Sol.

for Greddy kit!
