Is the motor supposed to smoke like it is? its white smoke and theres a lot sometimes and not so much other times. im hoping its just because its a new motor and it will go away.... anyone have the same experience or know whats causing it? search is down so i posted here. thanks

well..thats not to bad..if it was fromt the engine then it would or could be a faulty hose..but since its the tail pipe ur either burning carbon (which is good) or your burning some oil..if it goes on for a while i would be concerned..but if its carbon, then it should stop soon

Ditto, if it's white sounds like your headgasket didn't seal all the way.

Is it cold out? When its cold you can count on some white smoke when the car has been sitting.
