could be a bad o2 sensor, bad regulator, clogged fuel filter/rail, corroded wiring, something along those lines... mine ended up being one of the fuel injectors was cracked and the pintle was stuck open so it wasnt holding the fuel as its supposed to... it just contstantly dumped fuel into the cylinder at all times... this was also my cause of bad gas mileage

36... motor is stock and everything was set to spec... just out of nowhere it started idling rough and sounding like it was misfiring and eating gas up like a v8... code kept coming on not while driving but while sitting at idle for long periods of time
