Hi, I have a 98 teg that has a b18b1 in it, i am burning through fuel like crazy, i barely do 375 km on a full tank. i have changed my fuel lines so i know for a fact that they are not leaking. could it be a bad fuel modulator? a bad fuel rail? or bad injectors that spray too much fuel and leaks past the rings? i need help as soon as possible, any tip would help me a lot. Is that city driving 375 Km's. 2nd what is your fuel pressure get a FP gauge and hook it up very simple to do and can tell you a lot. are you running rich(pull plugs and see). any mods(ugraded pump/injectors ?)

 

both highway and city, i dont have a fuel pressure gauge set up but i will shortly, and there are no mods made related to fuel, although i have an engine code that brings up the EVAP system and also a code that tells me im running too rich or too lean, could this be a faulty modulator?

 

what code is this ?? modulator do you mean ECU or fuel pressure regulator ? no the evap code wouldn't make you get millage that bad maybe a 2-3 mpg drop at the worst
