Dont know if this belongs here, but what do yous think of putting a 55 shot of Zex on my new JRSC Si? Do nitrous and SC mix well?

 

i dont know if you gotta upgrade internals for a FI/nitrous mix. ( i would personally do it) but make sure you got some one to tune it out for you......

you can do a lot of things to your ride if you tune it correctly.....IMO

 

there is no way stock internals will handle nitrous and supercharger, you definitely need to upgrade that first.

 

It's been done before on stock internals. I'm not sure as to how much tuning/mods it took though. Try the forced induction forum as they mix boost/nos all the time.

 

you can do it. there was a kid on this board using a jrsc and 50 shot on a sohc. it hung together. I would recomend anything more thatn the stock pulley(6psi) and the 50 shot. becarefull, remember running both of those you have twice the chance of leaning out so be carfull!!

 

Zex says all you need is a fuel pressure regulator and colder spark plugs? And what does that mean when it only engages at WOT? Like it self engages when you're floored?

 

It only shoot juice when the pedal is at wide open throttle (so you dont bust your block to pieces).

if you want to do that without upgrading your internals, upgrade your fuel system and keep your boost relatively low. those things get hot FAST.

 

100% of all boosted Si's 99-00 spec have cracked pistons that I know of...
their internals suck on boost
be very damn careful now

 

bah, I'd do a NX 35 shot...its wet, and its a smaller shot...55 dry shot on a JRSC...hmmm...could get risky.
