Is the 5Zigen Fireball any good? I've heard that it sounds really awesome... but I'm not exactly looking to put on an exhaust for just the sound. I can't find much info on it, and it's more expensive than the N1, so I wanted to know if I'll get good performance out of it aswell.

Anyone had experience with it? Searching didn't turn up anything on it.

One more thing, if you don't like this cat, it'd be great if you could make a suggestion that fits the 500 or lower price range. I have an SRI, so my car is already loud when I get up in RPMs, but I don't want something that's going to scream. And custom is out of the question, there's no one around here to do it and I want mandrel bend.

I've never dealt with the 5Zigen stuff. But I hear they're decent. My personal favorites are Tanabe and Apex-i. I just got a World Sport 2 from here for a good price. Quiet when cruising and slowly getting louder and louder day by day when I get on it.

 

love my dc-sports catback. all stainless and just looks pretty as well as it has a stock canister with a tip look to it so it doesnt attract much attention but when shined up for shows its nice as can be. sounds perfect as well as the performance is nice on it.

 

when my EM1 was driven almost daily i had a 5zigen fireball catback, and it was nice, i had a DC header also, and no cat, it was a nice sound not really raspy i recommend it, i loved that thing, just not big enough for me once i went turbo so i got rid of it

 

I use to have the 5zigen, it was okay, I'd rather go with the N1 though
