Default how much oil does a BB4 manual trans take?

I guess I can't word it any better than the title...but I'm changing the trans fluid in my 93 Vtec, and I want to know how much to put in. There's no dipstick or sight-glass, and my owner's manual doesn't say ****. All I've been able to find out is that I'm supposed to use 10W30 motor oil.

Just short of 2 litres. Just keep filling until it starts to drip out of the fill hole.

2.1 quarts. Supposed to use 10w40 by the way.

Right, motor oil is supposed to be used only in case MTF isint available. At least on the 5th gen.

Different than the 4th gen. I just filled mine with 10w40. I guess after winter, I will try MTF or some synchromesh or something. The 4th gens are supposed to use 10w40 though- a lot of people say other things work much better. Couldn't hurt. A lubricant is a lubricant - some are better though.

I switched to Syncromesh the other day (#12377916) and so far it doesn't seem any different. In fact, last night was the first time in a while that I actually missed 3rd. Anyway, the reason the 4th gen manual says use 10w40 is because Honda hadn't come up with it's own MTF until ~96
