okay just about done installing everything for my mini-me setup and was testing out my VAFC, by just hooking it up to 12v DC source, and powered up fine..but I could not get the ETC which is #3 on menu to get selected?

note every other menu option was able to be selected..except the ETC option.

Is this because I did not have any sensors hooked up? so the VAFC would not read anything extra because no extra input was hooked up, or is this thing defective?

It is used but was working prior to removal.

 

okay I am a dork, figured it out, ..
when I had input wires hooked up to just ground and then induced power,
It went to option 1 on the ETC menu..
but prior to this it would go to options 4-6 first,
and not 1-3 first because I guess the VAFC was not reading a input signal..

at any rate it does work and my *** just needed to scroll up some more to the additional options..
