Will it lower???
If I put like koni yellow or other shocks on my civic, would it lower it like about 1/2 an inch? I only got lowering springs on them and I only want the front drop about a half inch more...

you're wrong.... ok well you're sorta right.
All koni Sport (ie yellow) shocks come with perch adjustments for stock, lower than stock and higher than stock. The standard Koni yellow shocks have 3 options (middle is stock). There are some labled SP3 that were made for Neuspeed. They are basically the same but they have 5 positions. The middle, highest and lowest are the same as the standard Koni, but they have 1 extra step between.
To answer the original question. With Koni's you could lower it some more, but it's not really recommended if you already have lowering springs on them. I did it witha set of Eibach pro-kits and it was fine, but you have to be careful about bottoming out the shock.

i was just planning on replacing the front cause i'm already satisfied with the rear. so its really not recommended to replace the shocks? thanks for the replies.
What lowering springs did you get btw? No, shocks don't control the ride height of the car, just how fast/slow it achieves the ride height determined by the spring (don't flame, generalizing here). I like the fat girlfriend idea. A K20 might also drop the front end a 1/2 inch.
