Default Prelude H22a swap into Inte-G

Sup all? I tried doing a search for a prelude engine to a 94-01 integra but can't find any info. So anybody know if this is too complicated to do or what? Does anyone know how much a whole swap including labor, and everything else needed would cost? I just wanna get a picture on how much money i would need to do this and if its worth it. Well thanx all, and ya'll been really helpful.

id guess 1700 to 2200 for the swap alone, that includes the hasport kit.

the things that will suck are the fact that you cannot keep A/C ...
summers will SUCK ...and for power steering you'll have to find
someone or a shop that can custom weld somethin to keep it..

do a search man..before i got my GSR, which was just last tuesday,
i was lookin into this swap. try h22 integra or something...

the total swap should be around the 4.5 k range, including motor.

You can keep a/c and for the p/s, you need the Prelude high pressure power steering hose.

jisatsu in houston does the swap for around 2300 if you already have a motor, but it costs like 4-5gz to get the whole thing done by them if they need to order a motor. if you were going to do the wap i recommend jisatsu. they specialize in ls/vtec and prelude swaps. if you go to their shop, every damn accord has a h22 in it and most civics and integra run ls/vtec and theres acouple of h22 integras.

h22 and h22a are tha same thing.. the SH has the same engine as the baseline but different tranny (i think some kinda lsd, im not sure- and thats what makes it heavier besides the other options), the 4th gen prelude is denoted as h22a1..2,3 (?) and fifth gen 'ludes are h22a4..5(?) the 5th gen makes a little more power than the fourth gen, i wanted to get a prelude before i got my gsr so i did some reasearch on them. they dont respond as well to modification (relatively speaking) to say a b18c or b16, but even with a heavy chasis, they can pull high 14's with i/e

i don't see the point of this....the b18c is a good enough platform to work with in the first place on an integra....it def. puts out enough power to work with in the first place...if u wanted an h22 why didn't u just get a prelude or swap it into a hatchback instead of an integra. with the money u spend on swapping an h22 into an integra u could spend that money towards something else for the b18c like a turbo w/built bottom end and be much faster than after ur done the motor swap

the lude high pressure PS hose goes to a different location than the civic for feeding the R&P. so it dont work that easy. lude/accord PS line goes under the rack and connects at the bottom of the rack. civic/integ routes over the rack and connects in the back. big difference.
