I know there’s a good chance that this question has been asked before but every time I try to search I get~

"The search server is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Its been like that all day; but anyways,
I was thinking about converting my rear drums to disk brakes. I was going to go to a local junk yard and find some off of an Acura. If someone could instruct me on what all I need to take besides the rotors and calipers off the Acura/and some pointers on installing them on my car, that would be great.

You don't need the trailing arms, but most people just do it becuase its generally easier to just swap the whole thing. But I know from experience that the trailing arms are interchangeable, as the Teg ones that I got were bent, so I just used the spindles etc from the Teg and the trailing arm from my car.

grab a proportioning valve of a 99-00 si, youll need this or the brakes wont work right. Its easiest to just grab the whole trailing arm assemble and swap it all, gsr
e-brake cables work but youll have to makeshift a way to bolt em down. your best bet if you just want rear disc is try to find it off an SI. it'll make it a lil easier, its def worth the swap though
