Default Oil Pressure Gauge - Line from back of block straight to gauge in pod? Correct?

Ive got a generic oil pressure gauge. Ive also got a T on the my block with 2 exits before the oil sensor, one is for my turbo feed and I want to use the other to run from the T to the back of the gauge by clamping it on

Is this how they are run?

Just a simple question I guess

yeah but i wouldent run the tee directly to the block if you have all that weight on the tee, there is a possibility the tee will break in the block and you would lose oil pressure possibly taking out bearings or worse if not lucky. ive seen this happen before on a ls vtec turbo suing the tee to the pressure sender port. try to run the tee to the firewall and run a steel-braided hose to the tee from the sender port. its a little more expensive but it is worth the peice of mind imo.

But it is alright to run straight from the T on the back of the block sensor to the sensor?
