I say... let the mexicans at the car wash do it Just one of those guys will clean them better than like 5 white guys. But if you wanna do it yourself, try using this stuff called Mag 5. Its a professional detailing solution. I detail cars and that stuff works great!

I use a purple acid similar to:

but in a commercial grade. Sometimes these products can do more harm then good like stripping the clearcoat due to being too concentrated.

If your wheels aren't too dirty soap and water and a good brush (old toothbrush works great) will do the trick. If your wheels are caked with brake dust try something acid based but use caution.

Yeah cuz only Mexicans work at the car wash

I wouldn't use any "Degreaser" cleaners. Just in case it takes off the finish or anything.

I know that feeling, but for some really weird reason it's only my back tires that get really dusty? Same with you?

Until I got my Sierra, I drove my car winters, so the wheels are all *explitived* up. I think they are beyond saving now.

I don't drive the car if it's not nice out, so I don't really have a problem anymore, but I can't wait to get the next brand new set when I do my swap.

no joke, oven cleaner. spray it on one wheel let it sit for 1 min, and get a towel or paper towel and wipe it off.

Oven cleaner is extremely strong. If you have painted rims it can take the paint right off. I use oven cleaner when taking painted letters off the side of commercial vehicles. It cuts through the painted letters but not the factory paint underneath.
