99 civic air vents

Hey, any little tips on taking out my air vents so i can paint them?? I really dont just wanna pull... i didnt know if there was any special trick.. just thought id ask ...... thanks

get a chilton or find someone with one and it tells in there where the clips are located and how you should "pull" on it. good luck

i just pulled mine out.. with a flathead screwdriver... and nothing was damaged but don't force it... also I'm assuming you're talkin about the vents on the sides, not the two on the middle console...
