Default changed head gasket..now it doesnt wanna move 93LS

I just changed the head gasket in a 93LS thats turbo. now the car doesnt wanna run right until boost hits. example. first gear, kinda flooring it kinda feels like it's gonna stall then when it reaches boost it moves. same for all the other gears. does it seem like a timing problem. or a vacum problem anyone got any ideas would be great..
