Dyno'd h22 turbo today..some problems greddy 18g
First off here is the status of the tune as of now. It was done on a Mustang dyno.

H22a
greddy 18g and mani
3inch downpipe back
550's
6.5 psi max levels out around 6
stock h22a fuel pump
hondata s200b
As you can see at 5800 rpm, it starts to get a bit choppy. At 5800 it cuts out for a short second and comes back then sooner after gets rough again. The car wouldn't respond to modifications to the map from 6300 on. More fuel in the map wouldn't do anything and neither would less. I do not have a graph of the afr but it was a solid 11.5:1 all the way across untill this area. Spent approximately 5 hours on the dyno. Most of the time was spent trying to get the top end figured out with no resolve.
My thoughts on the 5800 hicup were the rush of air from the butterflies opening. Also, I am running a stock fuel pump. Possibly the pump isn't supplying enough fuel. I don't understand why the fuel pump would be the problem.
I will be investing in a pump regaurdless and a second trip to the dyno with a little more boost should result in a smoother graph and some better numbers despite the mustang dyno's lower results.
