I have an 94 accord ex w I/H/E. Last night I bottomed out really hard, drove home and parked my car. I had checked underneath after it happened, and aside from flattening my header downpipe (some more) - everything looked okay. I know his probably isnt it...but it is the only thing that has happened to the car.

i got a CEL this morning apon starting my baby, and it wont go away. What do i do??? The car runs fine.... I looked for the connector to run the diagnostic...but cant see a blue 2pin connector anywhere i know where it (the connector) is SUPPOSED to be, but cannot find the f ing thing PLEASE H E L P !!!! Im planning to start getting my turbo kit installed this weekend, but now im a bit concerned...Blue two pin connector with cap on it right....under glove box ??? Or am i INCORRECT???

I know in some civics the plug you are looking for is right next to the ECU in this rubber holder thing. Look near the ECU, should be there and might not be blue.

 

You may have knocked something loose in your exhaust. Maybe something with your O2 sensor.

 

Did you look for the plug under the kick panel to the right under the glove box. That's 4th gen, maybe they moved it.

 

Thats what i was thinkin (O2 sensor), the car runs fine, but ima pull the downpipe off tonight and take a lookeee see and make a new gasket for it (it now leaks) tick tick tick fart vvvvvvvrrrrr, you know.

 

To check your CEL go here, should be exactly like my 95.

if your engine seems to be running fine then theres a good chance that it is your O2 sensor, mine went out the other day, check engine light came on, went down to AutoZone and got her plugged in and made sure it was the O2, gotta love those 5th gens with the service port behind the ashtray

 

with the exhaust leak I'm pretty sure about your O2 sensor.

 

yes yes yes... code 41 O2 heater.. Thanks man!!!!! iMA PULL THE downpipe out, section a piece in, fix the leak and put off the turbo kit install for a couple of weeks....
