Default Nut Boke!

One of the lugs broke ( got to love rust ) that was holding the transmission mount to the frame. NOw I am riding with the mount holding on one bold firmly and the one that broke is spinning like crazy. Now i will be putting the ITR into the vic, should i weld the mount in place? Leave as is? What to do??

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

How soon will you be doing the ITR swap? That might have some affect on what you should do.

Now thats the truth.

Which mount exactly is this? Back or upper mount? Or the front mount? If its the front mount ditch it.

If its the back mount try to drill it out and then retap it. If you weld it get it done perfessionally done.

Upper mount same thing.

Your talking about the top of the tranny then right? Thats the only place i could think that has "lugs"

If thats true then you should have new ones on your ITR swap and youll be fine.

It is the front mount, on the tranny. Not the top,

Would be mount # 12 with the bolts going into the frame.

Torque mount. If you use Hasport mounts or equivelent for the swap, you should be fine without it. I am missing one, engine side, and I dont seem to have any probs.
