Coolant bubbling out of resevoir!!
Well after driving to work (about a 30 minute drive) i came to a stop in a parking lot with the motor still running and i hear this loud bubbling noise. I turn the motor off and pop the hood to see what it was and find that my resevoir is bubbling out coolant. I check my radiator a few hours later and find that there is no coolant in the upper rad. hose, and a few drops of coolant in the resevoir.
Could you guys give me some suggestions on what might be the issue in my cooling system before assuming i have a blown head gasket. I already plan on replacing my rad. cap, thermostat, and draining the coolant and replacing with 50/50 coolant and bleeding the air out. Any help i appreciate.
thanks, aaron

You probably have a very slow leak that gradually leaked out enough coolant to overheat and bubble over. Refill, bleed, and inspect all the hoses, even the little ones under the intake manifold. If its not a leak, it could be the thermostat or more unlikely, the waterpump or clogged radiator. One more thing, do your fans operate properly?
I forgot to mention that the motor does not overheat. I havent heard the fan come on either while i was a stop. Im also going to check all hoses and make the fan turns on properly.
Could be that you have too much water in the mixture. It's just getting boiled and ends up in your reservoir. Try doing what you plan to do, drain the radiator/motor, and put new 50/50 mixture in.
Alright, I found out that the main fan is not turning on once at normal operating temp. I have my AC fan wired up so that i can manually turn it on whenever so that seems to stop the coolant from overflowing. So now i have to see why my fan is not turning on.
I also checked for oil in the coolant and there was no oil. I also had someone check my exhaust once i continually reved it to watch for white smoke and absolutely no color came out of the exhaust. So at this point i honestly dont think it could be my head gasket.
Thanks guys for your help.
