Default 1993 Accord EX Runs

Here's is a bit of history on the car.
1993 Honda Accord DX
235000 miles on car two holes in the block and #1 rod Dynamited.
Direct swapped in F22a6 JDM engine and transmission.

Here are some of the differences I found between the JDM and USDM engine I had to swap from original to the JDM engine.
Water Inlet housing
Thermostate Housing
Distributor and coil
Intake manifold

I swapped the JDM injectors to the original manifold .The distibutor guts from the original to the JDM housing Because of a cracked dizzy cap mount lug.
Changed the Timing and Balance belts
Set the valve lash
New oil pan, valve cover. intake, plenum and boost valve gaskets.
New wires cap rotor and plugs.
All new hoses.
New Radiator.
New Thermostat.
New half shafts
New Brakes rotors calipers pads front and rear.
New struts front and rear.
New upper A arms with ball joints.
Lower Ball Joints.
Tie Rod Ends.
Sway Bar bushings.
New Front Hubs.

I finally got to start it last night. God bless fuel injection the darn thing fired right up Wooo Whoooo! We ran it for about ten minutes and everything was fine no unusual indications at all. Then after a few more minutes the idle speed started to surge 500 rpm up and down. Well we shut it off. checked for leaks topped of the radiator and let some exhaust out of the shop.Could it have been old gas causing the idle surge, or the ECM just relearning?
Started it back up and it idled fine. Although I didnt run it as long as the first time.

The IAC valve will hunt if the idle screw has been backed out too far. Unplug the IAC, set the idle to between 500 and 600 RPM, plug it back in and clear your code. Idle should return to 750 and stabalize. The FITV can also cause this problem. It has a donut with a thimble in the middle that controls air bleed. Sometimes the dunut gets loose and can be screwed back down so that it seats properly. IAC may have to be taken off and cleaned with carb or brake cleaner.

Can you help me with the acronyms FITC and IAC? I'm actually looking in my Honda manual and those acronyms don't show up exactly like that. FITC Fast Idle Temp Control Valve AKA Fast Idle Valve? Is the IAC Idle Air Control AKA EACV? Located on th intake manifold black round looking solenoid? I will reset the Idle per the manual I got that part just need a location description for the FITC
Thanx

You are correct about the IAC. FITV is on the far right side of the plenum on the side facing the front. It has coolant lines running through the bottom.

It was the FITV. Tightened down the seat and haven't had a problem since.
Any way to lube the shift cable it's kind of tuff between park and reverse some times.
Thanx.
