d16z crank swap

Default d16z crank swap

can i put a crank from a d16z into my d15 block and would it give me any advantages higher red line exc exc

Im pretty sure you can but it wont give you any plus or minus in power.

Nope it will not fit...the 1.6 crank is much bigger then the 1.5 crank....

The stroke is 5mm more on the d16 crank. The d15 rods wouldn't fit on the d16 crank (rod end size is different). I'm not sure if the d16 rods would work in that block either - I don't know if the d15 deck hieght is different (I would suspect it is).

considering you can find a D16 usually laying in some random engine pile for no money ... you wont have to draw too long

deck height is different too guys, besides the main journal differences.
