Default FS: BRAND NEW MILLERMATIC 135 MIG WELDER

Just bought this welder off ebay and recieved it the other day. Turns out that I have a 15amp fuse for the line going to the garage. I CAN'T USE IT!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...23235

The seller isn't replying to my email and even though the return policy wasn't stated on the auction page, I have a feeling he's going adhere to the store policy which means no returns for welders. Bad customer service

The welder is unopened and in the original box it came in. I'm selling it for $540 SHIPPED INCLUDING PAYPAL FEES. Save a few dollars and help out a fellow h-ter

pics are available

You know, you can use it on a 15 amp breaker as long as you don't turn it ALL the way up, right? Even if you DO turn it all the way up, the worst that will happen is that you will trip the breaker. No biggie.

been there, done that. it SUCKS! You get half way through something and once it heats up it will keep tripping.

bump for the same welder that I've been using for a few months and LOVE!!!!

why dont you just put in a 30 amp fuse or breaker, and try not to weld full blast? i have a snap-on welder that runs off of 110v @ 30 amps , output 130a @ 100% duty cycle, that is run off a 20 amp fuse and i never have problems tripping the fuse. now if you have a 230v welder , 15 amps will go a hell of alot farther

Call an electrition? or diy and run new wire to your garage and throw a bigger breaker on.
I don't get why you would sell it... your just not going to have a welder at all now?

if you have an attic, and spare breaker slots, run it yourself. its very simple. all you need is a breaker, wires that match the breakers amps, and a wall plug that matches your welder. nothing to it.

that is a very nice welder, but it will indeed keep trippin tthe circuit, either call an electrician and have that problem taken care of or get rid of it. My friend had one of those and when we were using it on a 15 amp breaker, it kept on trippin it. Also try and run it off and outlet that dosent have anything else hooked up to it, cause when i was using it, periodically the welder would shut off, when i would shut the lights off in my garage it worked fine. I called miller and they basically told me that it is a very precise machine and requires absoulutely 110v continous to to weld, or it will shut off. nice unit tho, good buy for someone

Thats pretty standard.... so that those that choose to use paypal... can cover the fees involved. There is nothing "illegal" about that

Thanks for the support, guys. As of right now, I'm still trying to return it, but if you're interested, let me know. The price isn't negotiable.

Don't worry about it. robass is obviously a moron. He's must think ebay's policy applies to everything.

oh yeah, "$540 SHIPPED INCLUDING PAYPAL FEES" MEANS I'M NOT CHARGING EXTRA FOR PAYPAL, MORON!
