Default sratchy clicking sound from tranny

whats up im a first time caller...
i just have a quick question for anyone who knows...my tranny makes a sratchy clicking sound when i let go of the clutch..and when i push the clucth in thats noise goes away.....none of my gear grinds...everything seems to work fine except that noise???????? does anyone know what disease my tranny has???? lemme know

i have the same problem. thought it might have been the bearings so i changed out the clutch and throwout bearing. that didnt work. i am gonna buy a new tranny so F**K it.

but yah..........it could be your bearings....

Mine and many other pep's Civic clutch make noices. Mine make a noise like an un-grease hinge on a door, when I step on it. I tired to lube (WD40) where I can see, but doesn't help. I don't think anything is wrong with it.

Since you also got clicking sounds, I don't know.
