It's a whole process. You have to drop off your front bumper, and fender. Remove the old headlights. Then since the JDM headlights use H1/H4 bulbs instead of USDM ones which use 9007/6 bulbs you will have to cut and rewire H1/H4 sockets your light harnesses. Then install the new headlights, bulbs, front fender/bumper and viola.

There is a complete walkthru on what you need to do. It really is pretty easy too. I'm an idiot and I did it.

You shouldn't have to remove your fender to install the headlights. You do have to rewire your headlights.

Yeah, removing the fenders aren't neccesary. Removing the front bumper is enough. As for the sockets, if you can't make your own, AutoZone has some for like $3. That's only the H4 harness though. I've already hooked up my H4 bulbs, but cant figure out how to hook up my H1's. Any advice? I drive through the dark with only low beams and it's scary...

Removing the front fender makes live a whole lot easier. And I mean geez it's only 2 more 12mm bolts!

You messed up on your wiring then. That can be the only reason. The H4 bulb actually has two settings hi/low. From what I hear the low beam spots are day time running lights in Japan, and the high beam socket is a hi/lo beam bulb that changes (That's why H4's have a 3rd prong). Regardless check the lines, if they're getting power then ur wiring is messed up.

The H1 bulb does have one prong, but there is an H1 bulb connector socket that you put the H1 bulb in and it converts it to two prongs. I ordered some JDM headlights (just installed them a couple of minutes ago by the way) from passwordjdm last week and it came with the H1 bulb connectors sockets (one for each headlight). You can also buy them from the Honda dealership but they kinda charge alot for them.

Exactly. With the connector socket you should have a rubber sealing (same as for low beam bulbs. Only connector socket + rubber sealing provides the water or humidity will not enter to headlamp.

If you would not find them, contact me, I have some spare connectors and rubber sealings coming from JDM headlamps here.
