i dunno man, excess crank case pressure is on it's way up any way, what's your objection to tapping another valve cover releif, or a catch can?

It might be at or below the oil level.

What about the passageways where oil drains back down. Aren't those big enough to equalize pressure between the crankcase & the head?

i was talking to larry at endyne he said that he taps the back of the block but the motor needs to be apart i dont see why the pan wont work if i tap pan high and run the line over the top of motor to a catch can

Not trying to jack your thread but we seem to be haveing alot of presure in our block and it has no place to go besides out the dipstick tube. Where else on a H block can you tap to reduce that presure? This is how ours is set up

On all motors--the head and crankcase are connected for pressure via passages. I would not tap the oil pan simply because in a corner or acceleration, oil will come up the lines coming out of the pan. Do what they do on B-series and get the fittings for the back of the block--if you can't do that--weld some fittings to the Valvecover--and baffle in front of them--run lines from that to a catch can.
