throttle cable issues.
Hey all,
so i swapped a b18c-r into my 93 ej1.maybe i'm giving this ******* throttle cable to much thought but regardless.
i had a brand new b18c5 throttle cable and tried to use it. it seems as if it had a slight bit of slack, like it was to long. but it worked.
so i picked up a 94-97 DOHC del sol vtec cable. and the end that connects to my pedal looks nothing like the stock d16z6 or b18 cable. see pic 1

heres all 3 cables.

and the throttle rotor end of them.

again the ITR cable i have can work i was just wondering if there is a better fit. or if i in fact have the right del slo cable.
THanx for the help
Edit: here is the ITR cabled rigged up with ai beleive a d series bracket. I adjusted it the best i could and this seems to be the ebst so far, still wondering your thoughts...

Interesting thread, but I don't have the answer. In fact, I have another question. For those of you who are running an EG Coupe/Hatch, which throttle cable do you use for the H22 swap. The prelude throttle cable, or the Civic one. Sorry I didn't answer your question, and added one of my own.

could have been used before but no good now really, i will just be throwing money away. plus it would about 20-25$ exchanged to canadian. plus shipping. plus duty at the border.not worth it when it i have a cable already that will work with some thought.
ok here is the pedal assem. for a 96 del sol vtec (b series i beleive) the throttle cable number does not match the sol cable I have. i checked the single came vtec and it does not match either.
