Should I put new rotors on when I change my brake pads? I think the rotors are fine but is it something people normally do since they're already changing the pads then why not change the rotors? I just got the car so I don't know how old the rotors are. BTW I'm talking about the rear brakes on a 01 GSR.

if your rotors are warped or heavily rusted .. then yes.. they're not expensive for OEM replacement.. even the brembo oem replacement blanks are cheap.

Exactly, if they need it do it, if not, save your money for mayybe a complete brake upgrade down the road maybe.

 

even if they are warped or maybe rusted...take them to a shop that does brakes and have them throw it on the lathe, once they are done it should be true and will have a nice finish so it looks like they are new...
