My Muffler shakes badly sometime when my car is at idle
Not all the time, but sometime when I come to a full stop, I kind of feel that my car around the header shakes a little bit and I can feel it from the steering wheel and the shifter. I can also see my muffler is shaking back and forth in horizontal direction. Can that be a bad motor mount or? Please advice.
Thanks
Thanks
Look under your car to see if the rubber hangers holder things are all there and not loose or busted. If they are replace them. Also you shifter may be in contect with the exhaust pipe, check that it has proper clearance there.
PS. what kind of exhaust is it?
Hope some of this helps.

I dought it could be a hanger because at idle the engine doesn't shake like he says it does so probably the issue could be a bad mount I have that problem with my car i had torn up the upper driver side mount cause by too much wheel hop my your rear mount is the culprit! check it out!

FYI- the "." is your friend. Using them makes your posts much easier to read and understand.
And yes it could be a motor mount, or rubber hangers, or many other things. You say "the engine doesn't shake like he says it does", how do you know, you calling him a liar?
