hasport mounts?
so i have 2 totally screwed top mounts , ill post pics when i change them they should be horrible , but anyways , the shop i go to has the dc2 replacement mounts but in 62 a hardness, i had the 70a mounts in my civic and loved them , the shop says they have the 70 a inserts from hasport if i want them on the side for 15 bux , now my real question , how hard and what do i have to do to change the inserts in the new mounts , will i need a press or anything or should i be able to do it in my garage? i don't want to spend all this money and find out its another 50 bux to have them pressed in or whatever is nessassary thanks

You can change the Hasport mount's urethane using a press or without. It is possible to do this without a press, in your garage, but is hard to get the pin in the 70A urethane perfectly lined up in the mount without the press. A simple arbor press will make the process a lot more simple. I dont think it would cost you $50 to change the urethane. It takes about 1 min with an arbor press. The shop selling you the mounts should do it for free especially if they have a press. Also, the pin presses into the urethane a lot easier if you put a little grease on the pin.
