A few teaser pics of my "new" S.
"new" being in quotations because it's only new to me; it's actually quite old. 41 years to be exact. As some of you may know, I recently bought a 1964 Honda S600 Convertible.
Here she is (pics aren't the best, but you get the idea):
It's almost a turn-key car, the engine fires right up, all 4 carbs are smooth reacting to the throttle, it revs strong, but I can't drive it just yet until I get the wheel cylinders, and clutch and brake master cylinders rebuilt.
Cosmetically, body wise, the car is almost perfect. Not a single dent on the 41 year old sheet metal anywhere. There is just one spot on the rear quarter panel where the paint chipped; and it's missing a few emblems. The hardtop obviously needs some work, but other than that, the car is almost spotless.
An interested fact about this car: it's the oldest "known" Honda S600 in the United States according to the VIN number (it's within the first 100 produced in 1964). It's got the original glass-covers for the headlights (roughly 1000 cars ever came from the factory with this option), it retains it's original number's matching engine, and did I mention it's RHD
But that's all for now, I'm having the paint work on the rear quarter done and the hardtop done, as well as having the seats reupholstered. I should have some better pics of the car in a few weeks/months after all that is done.

It's kind of weird to think that back in 1964, reverse lights were an option, which this car does not have

looks even better from the previous pictures that you posted, very nice indeed for a 41 year old car. what's the story behind the car, whoever owned it took really good care of it or just didn't drive it too much... what's the mileage on the car/engine?
