Is there any way to tell the difference between a type r crankshaft and a GSR?
I have a gsr block that was supposed to come with a type r crankshaft, and i was wondering if there is any way to tell the difference between the two just by looking at them. If anyone has pictures of either that would be great too. thanks for any help.
I'm just throwing this out here, so no flames from anyone if the stamping doesn't exist on the crank....
Look for a "P73" stamping on the crankshaft.

yeah, that was the first thing i did, but it doesnt seem to be visible, at least from anywhere i can see with the crank installed. if there is a stamp, can somebody tell me where it would be?
ITR on left, GSR on right

R crank has a 'R' cast into it (between #1 rod journal, and #2 main journal)
