Use the accord aleternator...and switch the pullies if you are using a prelude underdrive pulley.

You can use either one, but remember that the accessory belt from a prelude is different than the accord. So you need to make sure that the pullies are for the same car. The alternator and A/C compressor from both the accord and prelude will bolt up and line up...The only exception is the p.s pump.

Depends on which accord and which H22 engine you have.

The prelude bracket and p/s pump lines up perfectly...However; the p/s hose or line..whatever you want to call it is not flush when you use the accord p/s line. Thus, you need everything from a prelude as far as the power steering goes....line, pump and bracket...

If you want to use the accord line and pump, you still need the prelude bracket, but the one from 97+.

ok well i need the A.C compressor from the accord ... and alternator from accord and P/s from prelude just change all the gears on it to a prelude one ??

would it make more sense to just buy those aftermarket gears for preludes and put tem on the accords atly and A.C and use the prelude belt

When you are saying gears, I am assuming you mean pullies.
You only need to change the pullies if you intend on using the prelude underdrive pulley. Since you have all the accord parts, why don't you use the accord underdrive pulley...b/c then you can keep all of your accord parts. Remember to get the prelude 97+ p/s pump bracket.

Yes...assuming that you have a 98-02 accord, and the bracket is from a 97+ prelude.

I have that engine too.

The same should apply as well, but I"m not 100% sure.

For powersteering here is what you need
1. if the h22 is 97+ you can use that pump with the accord hardlines, perfect match
2. if not 97+ you need a prelude ps pump BRACKET and use the accord ps pump and hardlines
3.or you can delete it like me unless you are a nancy

True that

I removed the p/s with the swap too. B/C I didn't feel like forkin out the extra 80 dollars to get a prelude hose.

I like it without p/s. Allows you to get a better feel of the road.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe i should just forget about the P/S....
well is it hard to turn ?? or what

so let me see if i got it right
i got a 92-96 h22 so i use the 92-96 h22s bracket and just swap the accords P/S on to the bracket and no need for any extra hoses or anythin because it will be all hooked up already right ?

i am dumping the A/C but yeah i guess i do want to keep the P/S pump so i keep the accords P/S pump and use the preludes bracket and bolt it on the h22.. so no need to take off any hoses for the P/S pump so simple swap right ?
