Just did a compression test on my B17.
Got a 92 Integra GS-R with 238,700 miles. All stock.
I just did a compression test and need to know some thoughts.
I did one test following the Haynes Manual and cranked the engine over 7 times. Here are the numbers:
190, 175, 170, 185
I did the second test following c-speedracing.com and cranked the engine over 5 times. Here are the numbers:
170, 160, 165, 170
So what do you think is up?
Lets hear some thoughts/opinions. I think I may need to replace my headgasket. Not sure, but probably. I was gonna take it into the shop Friday and have a leakdown test done, but he wants $60. That's the price of a headgasket.
Any suggestions???
