Default h23 to h22

i know there must be alot of threads, but i swapping a jdm h22 from my usdm h23a1. also the h22 tranny, i just wanted to know if its all plug and play im getting the nessessary parts like axels tranny ecu harness etc. just wanted to know if i can drop the h22 and tranny right in with no mods hoping its just plug and play. please dont say search can i have and i cant find so whoever says search can f off

what type of prelude is it and what year? if you have the ecu and everthing, i'm pretty sure it'll drop right in

i would also definitely try searching a little bit harder

Yeah the H23 part gave it away. I'll be damned if he bought a fifth gen that someone put an H23 in before.

lol ya i thought the h23 was a dead give away but for those who still wanna know its a 4th gen 94 si, is it all plug and play ? i will have axels ecu tranny harness t body in and ex manifolds dizzy start clutch flywheel etc lol all essentials so is it plug and play ??? thanks for help

swap teh manual tensioner from the h23 to teh h22 while you are at it

yeah i plan to swap my h23 for an h22 within the next few months....its very straightforward.....i helped my firend do his......not hard at all

i'm in the middle of swapping my h22 also.. quick question... where did you guys mount your external coil? and why can't I find the plug it connects to?

i just ziptied it to the ac line, you can make a bracket

you have to rewire the external coil

When i did mine i bought the coil bracket from hondaautomotiveparts.com for a 5th gen prelude and it bolted right up. If you are good and have the metal you can fab one up yourself, but when i did mine i didnt have the resources to do that.
