Ok, ive searched a bunch and I am still not sure what heads will work. Will any D series head work? Which timing belt goes with which head?

Also, is there a way to remove the head without ruining the head gasket so I can check to see if I have 4 valve reliefs? Or any easier way to check for valve reliefs?

if you can find out if it is 4 valve reliefs use Bauley civics writeup to do the rest.

also, i think i saw a thread on here a few days ago asking a similar question, something about the newer ones have 4 valve reliefs, but i dunno which ones.

yea i read over that whole thing, just was still a bit confused. If its true that only the newer civics have 4 valve reliefs, then im probably out of luck with my 92...

I'll probably read over that again, now that im more awake.

 

ok I did a google search and came up with the answer that all d15b8's have 4 valve reliefs... d15b6's only have 2.

Anyone with a d15b8 ever run across 2 relief pistons?

 

maybe the local honda dealership can tell you?

even if someone has come across it, wont really help you figure out what you have.

best thing to do is remove head and check i guess.

or just do a full z6 swap
