The wife and I just purchased a 99 SI and it has some stock Honda pin stripeing going down the side.
I was wondering if anyone knew of the best way to remove it, with out hurting the paint. Any help would be great.

hair dryer
also what color is the car? i removed the pin striping from my dad's red miata, and a very noticable line was the result due the fading though out the years. i did that about six years ago, and currently you can barely tell.
so just expect to see a darker shade of your paint once it is removed.

It is EBP.....Im not worried about the small line, i just want it off of there. So you just used a hair dryer? What di dyou use for the glue/sticky stuff holding it on?
Go to your local Paint Jobber (people that mix/sell paint and painting supplies) and ask for a pin striping eraser that attaches on the end of the drill.
I know if sounds kinda odd but the pin striping eraser will COMPLETELY remove the striping, the glue and everything. You can also do your entire car in less than 5 mins with this tool. This is what the body shop uses in most instances.
Should be less then $20.

I 2nd this idea. I worked at a body shop for a while and that is what we always used, leaves no residue or markings. its safe on the paint and the absolute quickest way to get the job done.

Go buy adhesive, wax, and mark remover, made by 3M. Go to your local Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Napa, etc, they should have it. Used it on my wife's 2000 accord, and the pin stripe came right off. Just have to wax it again after doing this.
