Default ROAMING IDLE

Alright fellas I have a weird problem on my car. When it warms up the idle jumps from 2k to 2.5k when the clutch is engaged or when the car is in neutral. So I was told to check the vacuum lines I did and they were indeed wrong so I fixed them. It fixed the roaming idle but now I have a new problem. Once the car warms up the rpms drop under 1k and start sputtering and acting weird. It goes all the way to barely over 0 like 100 to 200. This once again only happens when the clutch is engaged or the vehicle is in neutral. What do you guys think is my problem?

I think it could be my fuel filter. How do you take that out ? Could somebody tell me where it's located at?

My DA does something similar... with the clutch in or while I'm in neutral, the rpm's bounce between 300 or so and my normal idle (about 750-800). It doesn't do that all the time, and it stops after the car's been running for 15 minutes or so. What'd you do to fix it?

What I meant is I figured out a solution to my problem. I have yet though to actually fix it. I'm still in the process of fixing it.

OK, then what's the solution to your problem? I'm guessing my (your) idle control valve is dirty/doing something weird.
