I suspected they were the same, but had doubts because that white coupe is running on 1970's fittapaldi rims that have had the center cap removed and the whole rim repainted bronze. They were poplualr with old VWs.
I didn't know this was a common thing to do, let alone people owning these rare classic wheels, or even puting them on egs...
How many more ppl are running on these fittapaldis and are they easy to come by?

Like i said in my thread, i'm pretty sure those are the exact same wheels i have on my car, literally, look at the dark spot below where the center cap goes on the front wheel, looks to be the same knick as the wheels i have.
These are very rare wheels.
These are very rare wheels.
They look remarkably similar, maybe there are small differences because of the year of manufacture.
Are there any other makes that resemble that style/design or can we agree that all three are some type of fittapaldi rim?

This appears to be the same wheels with center caps on it.

There's a girl locally with these wheels, she has center caps on them and they don't look very good in my opinion, but she does.

Nice pic!
I found these too. Maybe there was a remake of them in the early 90's...
"Speedline rims originally from vw corrados";

Off ebay under fittipaldi, look a bit different but what the hell;

Also ander fittipaldi;

"16x7 oz fittipaldi rims"(note: i checked up oz fittipaldi, they look different);

Looks like others are having trouble identifying them too. If anyone has more pics of wheels like these, pleaz post up thanks...

wow...could that mean they weren't made to be a copy? I'm pretty sure these model wheels have been out much longer then the SW388 wheels made by spoon sports.

Any ideas on what they are?

those on the black hatch are on my car now.
I bought them from the dude and I belive his name is HARTB18C on here. He had them silver, painted them gold, sold them to me and now I have them flat black

They have Fitipaldi stamped on the wheel spoke itself, but there are copy's of this wheel floating around from the company called American Racing.
