Help! My rear window cracked!
Yesturday I put my top down on my '01 S2000 and the vynal rear window cracked.
It split all most in the bottom center of it. It's a 3 inch gash.
Is there any way to replace it with a glass one like the '02 and newer ones? Or atleast some kind of vynal repair that will keep out water.

thats exactly what happened to me! the first week i got the car and put the top down at night, i cracked! well, you can buy replacements for it. i just taped up the crack and soon bought a hardtop

You mean the glass peep-hole?
A new top is ~$1500. It's more, if you're going to change it to a 02+ (glass). For that, I'd just ghetto-tape it, and get a hard top. It takes like 2 min. to take on/off the top.

It's only a peephole when its too cold outside, and I always have a beanie, hoodie sweats and gloves in trunk. Top down + Wide rearview mirrors = no peephole.

i thought a replacement top was 850 from hard top guy with the glass rear window
