Default LifeSpan of turbo'd H23's???

I've been asking around and talking to people about boosting my prelude and I've heard a lot of stories. Good and bad ones. That good is that if I turbo my lude with STOCK internals and have it tuned properly, my engine will not blow. Well, atleast not in a couple of months or so. But it'll last longer. The bad is that if I run boost on my lude with STOCK internals, no matter what, my engine is most likely to be blown because it's not built for turbos. Who's right? And for those of you who has turbo'd your hondas with stock internals, what are your testimonies? What experiences have you had? Somebody help...please. I already have a turbo kit being shipped to my house and now I here all of these things about turboing. Did I make a mistake?

Any significant change over what Honda manufactured is going to shorten the lifespan of your engine. If it's tuned correctly it will run fine under normal conditions, but just think of the amount of freak occurences that can destroy a regular engine, and multiply that.

Has anyone here boosted their H23's? I'm sure there's quite a few of you.

same here...I've searched and read up on the BOOST FAQ's but it doesn't answer my question. I just want to know what kind of experiences people with h23 turbo are having. Just so that I can prepare myself.
