Grounding an amp: front seat mounts?
I'm a total newbie to the audio scene. I'm in the final stages - I just have to ground the amp. Are the bolts for the front seats a good place to do this, and if so how much do I torque these bolts when I replace them?
(the amp is going under the front passenger seat, BTW)
Thanks!

hmm i suppose those will work. but their not exactly bare metal grounding surfaces... you might get alternator noise or some other grounding issues... since you said your in the final stages.. im assuming you alread ran all the wiring and mounted the amp...
I used that area to ground my amps. Just scrape it a bit to expose some bare metal. As for torque, just do it enough so that the seat doesn't move around....
