OBD differences: how do you tell?
If all you have in front of you is the ECU, how can you tell what OBD it is? My question is involving a P13 automatic transmission ECU with the tranny brain from a JDM H22a. Also, I know i have read this somewhere, but what are the visual ways to tell the difference.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Question was what are the visual differences on the engine, not the ECU. if the ECU cant tell me, then I will have to look at O2 sensors or something. Let me know.

well for the ecu plugs here's how you tell:

as for the motor, what motor (d,b, h-series?) are you asking about?

Sweet pics. That's what i had in mind
I have an H22a from japan. Im swaping it into my 93 Prelude Si. The only complications would be Vtec and possibly OBD issues if its a 96. Let me know about the engine identifaction.
