Just curious if this is a decent time for the setup?
Del Sol VTEC removed pass. seat and spare tire only
Factory del sol wheels w/ almost no tread left in the front and 17's in the rear
Factory B16A3 w/ 130XXX miles
Custom turbo kit Making 226 WHP w/ 153 lbs torqe (tuned for topend..)
But that's the jist of it...
60 ft was a 2.3
1/4 mile was 13.9 @ 100 MPH
fastest speed of the night was 103
Just wondering if this is decent.. If you need more info let me know and i'll ask my buddy... thanks

It's not bad man, you can get a good bit more out of the car with the same MPH with just a decent launch. Buddy of mine is running 13.20 all day long with the same 103 you pulled as a best. 60 isn't AWFUL for street tires but you can squeeze some more out of it.

yea i think i own that record, haha. Got it on tape too. Funny thing was, i had a GSR trans w/ open diff on 24.5x8-13 slicks. talk about a wierd combo. I know i could have gotten it in the 13.5 range on the proper sized slick. car weighed 2350 with me in it. USDM b18c1, skunk2 mani, kenji ecu, ebay $150 header w/ 2.5" collector
, AEM 3" short ram, open header, no exhaust, ACT 6 puck clutch, MSD plug wires, GSR cams, and the slicks. VERY basic on no real tune. lol This was in WI on an ok night 75* or so... only cut a 1.81 60ft on the 13.7 pass with those monster slicks.

sure, i think its completely possible, but we're talking about for the HP this guy is making hes in the ball park of what he should be running depending on his elevation and such.... theres room for improvement too.
what i'm wondering... what size turbo/boost on the original posters b16 b/c 220 is kinda low.

It's a turbonetics t3 t4 w/ a 62 a/r... Not exactly sure on all of the specs... the turbo was bought a long time before being installed....
THe cams are stock b16 exhaust and a CTR intake...
THe car doesn't make to much power down low at all but when VTEC kicks in that's when it really pulls.. The head is BONE stock.. The power curve never dropped.. If the valve train was better i'de be able to make some more power.. Also my charge pipe from the IC to the TB is 3"... I'm changing that this week...

2300lbs including driver is a pretty stripped out del sol. dont jack this guys post with your own bragging when the circumstances were nothing the same.

thanks for all of the replies.. I'm just trying to get my best time on street tires first so I know somewhat of where i'll stand on slicks... From what most of my friends run the slicks drop their times by a second. Give or take a tenth... and how did you get your car down to 2300 lbs w/ you in it? what did you take out?
No bumper supports, scraped the tar up under the carpet, no windshield wiper rezzie, one seat removed, no exhaust, no a/c or PS, no passenger airbag in my model. It was a S model, but i had full GSR suspension on it with sway bars. Lenso VPD rims with MT drags. Still had carpet, full interior, OEM steel hood, and a custom front end. ;-)
