Question about tranny swap...
Hey guys my 97 prelude tranny is acting up... i was told its ganna go cuz it sux. and i read other treads about it acting up like that... so im wondering right now... its there alot to do before i can spaw my auto tranny for manual one ??? is it going to cost alot and is it taking a long time ?????

Come on guys anyone out there can help me please i want to get rid of the piece of crap i got now and get a manual one but i have to know everything i should before i do so.......

Some people have had good luck with changing the fluid/filter.
Search around for the manual swap, it can get rather pricey and involved but a lot of people have done it.
First things first - check fluid level to make sure it's ok. I have a '92 auto and no problems with tranny @ 190K miles (*knocks on wood fervently)

You've got to wait more than 14 minutes to expect a response! This isn't honda-real-time-instant-tech.com

i did a pressure flush 2 weeks ago and nothing helped... and i just want to swap the tranny cuz im better off with a manual one.... i hate auto trannies
